JR Litehiser

JR Litehiser is the CEO and Founder of PNW ECS, where he leads the company’s growth, builds strong vendor relationships, and looks for strategic opportunities to expand into new markets. He first entered the industry as a concrete contractor from 2005 to 2008, then launched the distribution side of the business in 2008. After a disabling injury ended his contracting work, JR shifted fully into distribution and continued building what would become PNW ECS.

With a deep background in polymer-modified cements and fluid-applied flooring systems, JR brings both field experience and big-picture strategy to the company. These days, his focus is on growing the team, strengthening partnerships, and setting both employees and clients up for success as the business continues to expand. His unofficial role could best be described as “Agent of Chaos,” pushing boundaries, challenging the team to stretch, and occasionally making everyone just uncomfortable enough to grow.

Before PNW ECS, JR’s résumé took a few scenic detours, including camp counselor, high school teacher, school administrator, and law enforcement officer, because apparently choosing one lane felt too restrictive. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, training bird dogs, traveling, learning, and generally staying in motion. He describes himself as “the biggest redneck the City of San Francisco ever produced,” which is probably both a bio detail and a warning label.
